Partied and Pampered at Heading Out in
the GPO.

Caterina and her award winning team were fabulous hosts
at the ladybirds Christmas Party on November 30.

Over fifty
ladybirds were pampered and partied. Hair was tossed with blow
driers whilst Madonna treated ladybirds to some fabulous
makeup hints from Diego Dalla Palma - Italy's exclusive
cosmetics and now available at Heading Out salons around
Melbourne.
“Just wanted to say I had a fantastic
time last night. It was a great atmosphere and such a girly
thing to do. Hubby loved my hair when I got home so I've just
gone and bought a hair straightener! You and
Selena are getting it 100% right with these functions. Lots of
fun, good food & wine but also giving people a chance to
network. I made a great contact which is what Ladybirds is all
about.” SS
 A
real live ladybird flew in, just for our
occasion.
Ladybirds enjoyed wines from Buller, Yarra Valley
Spring Water and delicious canapés from Fillings
Catering.

Ladybirds and Perspectives
Coaching — Five Faces of Success Luncheon
Join us at the Windsor
on Thursday February 2nd to launch the Women
and Success Survey by Perspectives Coaching. With over
550 responses so far, this survey has given us great
insight into how Australian women feel about success and
what's important to them.
A panel of five successful women will
be sharing their personal views on success and will form
a panel to discuss the findings of the survey. We are
excited to confirm that Marcia Griffin a renowned
Australian business woman together
with Jacinta Caithness (tipped to be the next CEO
of Boost Juice) and super mum Melissa Jurie are
three of our speakers for this exciting event. Stay
tuned for news of our other speaker.
Start your
2006 with vibrant goals and shared strategies to help
you fulfil your vision. This lunch is for Women AND
EVERYONE who is in relationship with women, both
professionally and personally. In an ageing workforce
Corporate Australia needs to listen and understand what
drives women and what's important to us.
We will
be offering a sumptuous two course luncheon with wine
and coffee. Each attendee will receive
a complimentary copy of the survey results and will
be automatically invited to our celebration at JWOW Wine
Bar from 6pm onwards that evening to party. As you
have come to expect from our functions, there will be
fabulous door prizes to win.
Ladybirds $75,
Guests $85 inc gst Ladybird tables of eight $600 with
signage
This will be a sell out event — go
to the ladybirds website and book your tickets
now!
Here is sneak preview of what
Australian women have shared so
far:
91.4% of you feel
successful
83% said that feeling good
about yourself was very important to having a successful
life
69% said that work / life balance was
an important factor to their success and
achievement
54% said that a passion for
what you do was a key factor contributing to success in
their career.
When asked: How do you define
success?
"What I have learnt is that we
really can only be successful at things we do. Which
means that we can only fail at things we do. We
therefore cannot be defined as a success or a failure as
a whole person. What a relief... I am allowed to be
imperfect"
"Success is waking up each day with
purpose, knowing you are making a difference, enjoying
the journey whilst continually growing
personally"
"Success is giving whatever we
attempt in life our best shot. It is not the result but
the knowledge that we have tried that matters. It is
fulfilling, non judgemental relationships with friends
and colleagues and most importantly the ability to have
fun. One needs to be able to laugh at oneself!
"
Marcia Griffin

Marcia is one of our guest panelists at the
luncheon
As CEO of POLA Cosmetics Australia and
New Zealand between October 1987 and December 1997,
Marcia Griffin is believed to be one of the few
Caucasian women in the world to have ever headed up a
Japanese company. POLA Cosmetics, unheard of in
Australia before 1982, is a $3bn corporation based in
Tokyo. Marcia joined the Australian franchisee who
started marketing POLA in 1982, as the solitary sales
person, by December 1997 she had built the company to a
multi-million dollar business, with approximately 4,700
POLA consultants across Australia and New Zealand. In
December 1997,Marcia sold back her share of the Pola
business to the parent company to take on other
challenges. | |
