Peakshape your thinking and you Peakshape your body...

Jules Terrill was our special guest speaker at our June event and shared with us how to Peakshape our body….

One of the ways we shape our body is with our mind. It’s our choices of thinking, made directly or indirectly, that create our body and its state of wellness or illness.  So, next time when you think about your body, think positive and encouraging thoughts to nurture it to vitality! Peakshape your body - transform your life.

Pollyanna Lenkic and Lou McCann at the ladybirds June event at JWOW

At our previous event in June we met the wonderful Pollyanna Lenkic, successful global business woman and executive life coach who recently relocated from London.  Pollyanna gave us just a taste of things to come with the wheel of life.  See chart below and some notes of how you can work on your own wheel of life.  Pollyannna is coming back as our special guest for ladybirds on August 10 to talk on Women & Success.

The Wheel of Life
An exercise to help you gain a fresh perspective on your current life situation.

Directions: The eight sections of the Wheel of Life represent balance. Seeing the centre of the wheel as 0 (unsatisfied) and the outer edge as 10 (very satisfied), rank your level of satisfaction with each area by drawing a straight or curved line to create a new outer edge (see example). The new perimeter represents the wheel of your life. If this were a real wheel, how bumpy would the ride be?

What next?

take some time to ask yourself the following questions:

1. Look at the wheel, what comes up for you?
2. Where do you want to make a difference in your life?
3. What area are you ready to make a change in?
4. Where do you usually get stuck?
5. What motivates you when you are stuck?
6. How are you about doing what you say you will do?
7. What are you committed to?
8. What can you do now to move towards your goal?
9. How important is this to you?
10. What support / resources do you need to help you?

From the ladybirds book of anecdotes… the famous nursery rhyme.

This little ditty has spread around all the English speaking parts of the world in one form or another since its creation, believed to be in the 19th century.  Its existence demonstrates the strong ‘presence’ of the beloved ladybird in the mind of non-entomological people.  Few other insects have such a positive image in the minds of people.

”Ladybird ladybird fly away home, your house is on fire, your children gone.  All but one, and her name is Ann and she crept under the pudding pan.”
